A strong start for Showman's Show 2014

With more exhibitors confirming stand space early, many of which are re-bookings, and an area for Acts & Attractions set to be unveiled, it is unsurprising that Showman’s Show organiser, Lance Show & Publications Limited, is feeling positive about the exhibition’s 29th outing.

Taking place at Newbury Showground, Berkshire from 22nd-23rd October, the UK's comprehensive exhibition for the outdoor and special event industry is gathering momentum. Over 340 exhibitors are expected to showcase their products and services to an anticipated audience of 4,500 event professionals across the two day event. First-time exhibitors at the 2014 Show include luxury portable toilet providers, Loos for Do’s; German specialists in coated fabrics and technical textiles, Mehler Texnologies Ltd; importer of yarns and fabrics, Premier Textiles and Loowatt Ltd, which will display its revolutionary, energy-generating waterless toilet system.

“This early in the season, we are extremely encouraged by the response from exhibitors and have more confirmed stands than at this point in previous years,” explains show organiser Jeremy Lance. “We are working hard to ensure the Show continues to attract creative and imaginative businesses, ready to unveil state-of-the-art structures, extraordinary equipment and engaging entertainment to serve the outdoor event industry.”

A feature for 2014 is a designated area that will play host to Acts and Attractions wishing to showcase themselves. Situated in the heart of the show, entertainment companies already confirmed include Joseph’s Amazing Camels, The Welsh Horse Yeomanry, Circus Whiz and Titan the Robot.

Jeremy added: “Acts & Attractions are a crucial part of the Show and we have always been keen to provide them with a bespoke area, the idea is that this will quickly become a focal point and meeting place for them and event organisers; somewhere for new contacts to be made and new business generated.
