HireHop, the cloud based rental software for hire companies, was launched just under 3 years ago, and has grown at an unprecedented rate in that time.

HireHop started out as being a piece of software written for Windows for a small lighting and sound company by its owner and software engineer, Justin Levene, solely for internal use. After 30 years in the industry, Justin was approached by other companies within the industry who wanted access to the software. With technology advancing all the time, Justin decided to rewrite it and move to a cloud based solution. This, in turn, enabled it to run on any machine; PC, Mac, iPad, Android phone and more, without the need to install it. It’s even been run on a fridge with a built-in web browser!

As the demand for HireHop grew, Justin decided to sell his lighting and sound business and concentrate all his efforts into HireHop, with the aim to give hire companies a powerful, easy to use and most of all, state-of-the-art software with an affordable price, for an industry that had served him well for 30 years. He even created a free highly ranked online directory that markets the equipment HireHop users own, enabling them to obtain more business with no effort on their part.

Today HireHop has grown from a bespoke rental software for a small event hire company to a software solution that is now used all over the world by large and small companies alike. Its high profile client base includes: Sparq, The NEC, Blackout, Maestra, The ICC, SFL Group, Media Powerhouse and UK Rigging to name but a few. This transformation and growth has happened in just under 3 years.

HireHop will be exhibiting at The Showman’s Show for the first time in 2019 and is looking forward to sharing its technology and success story with visitors.
