Hodge & Huggett is an independent catering company run by a husband-and-wife team. Together they have over 25 years combined culinary experience, working at some of the best restaurants in London and New York, including head chef at Yotam Ottolenghi’s flagship restaurant. Trading since 2015, they offer street-food stalls, pop-up restaurants, festivals, dinner parties and weddings.
The couple will be bringing their excellent street food options, including The Duck Shed and Yum Dogs to The Showman’s Show for exhibitors and visitors to experience first-hand within the show’s catering area.
The Duck Shed serves slow roasted pulled duck three ways – in a wrap, bun burger or fresh salad box. Each can come in a variety of styles and are served with homemade sauces and relishes. Or for the non-meat eater, its Vegan-nese Duck has proved to be hugely popular. Whilst Yum Dogs served from a vintage van are the ultimate sweet treat with many flavour combinations.
Finalists in the 2019 British Street Food Awards and appearances on BBC’s Million Pound Menu has put them firmly on the map. Its London based team is completely versatile; from weddings and office lunches, to pop ups and private dining experiences – Hodge & Huggett is able to cater for all types of events, creating bespoke menus as requested. The company is about to deliver a large pop-up restaurant for a six week period at St. Giles house in Wimborne.
