MUTA to launch free venue membership and preview updated Best Practice Guide
The UK’s trade association for marquees, tents and structures is pleased to reveal that venue membership will be made free of charge from October 22 (the first day of the Showman’s Show), giving event organisers and venues easier access to guidance, resources and industry support for safe, compliant temporary structures.
In addition, MUTA will offer an exclusive preview of its updated Best Practice Guide. The guide includes significant changes that event organisers and temporary structure hirers need to know about.
Raising the standard: What’s new in MUTA’s Best Practice Guide?
MUTA’s Best Practice Guide has long been the benchmark for safe, professional, and compliant temporary structure operations. Significant updates are about to be made - updates that event organisers and temporary structure hirers need to know about.
Join MUTA’s general manager Joe Chalk for an exclusive preview of the new guide at the Showman’s Show. This session will highlight the key changes, why they matter, and outline what organisers and hirers must do to stay compliant and ensure best practice across their events.
General manager Joe Chalk said: “We’ve been working on this project since the beginning of the year, with invaluable contributions from our members, industry stakeholders, and the Health and Safety Executive.
“With the new Best Practice Guide set to go live in November, the Showman’s Show offers the perfect opportunity to share the updates and help the industry prepare for their introduction.”
The session will take place in the Meetings Tent on Wednesday, October 22 at 1:30pm.
Visitors to the Showman’s Show can find the MUTA team on stand 162.
