Designed specifically for those working with temporary shelters and demountable structures, the ESITS Shelter Training Scheme provides a clear, structured pathway for career development. Developed in partnership with the ESITS Standing Committee, The Guild of Tentmasters, and MUTA, the scheme is industry-recognised and delivers accredited training and assessment across seven specialist shelter disciplines.

GECO (General Events Crew Operative)
Ideal for those starting out in the shelters and temporary demountable structures sector, providing a strong foundation in safe working practices.
TDS Tent Technician
Designed for individuals looking to advance their career in shelter structure operations. This training equips delegates with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to safely erect and dismantle their specific shelter systems.
Tent Master (Supervisor)
Aimed at experienced TDS Tent Technicians ready to progress into supervisory roles, overseeing safe installation and site operations.
Each level is built to develop competence, confidence, and capability within a structured, recognised framework.
