NOEA & Qdos to Host ‘Town Hall’ Discussions with UK Government at Showman’s Show

The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) and Qdos Event Hire will host an exclusive activation at this year’s Showman’s Show, bringing together industry and government in two Town Hall-style events.

High-profile representatives from the UK outdoor events industry will provide updates to civil servants, MPs, and government representatives attending the show as NOEA's invitees. These updates will address the industry’s challenges, threats, and opportunities for collaboration, as well as how UK events can support the government’s policy and growth agendas. The discussions will take place at the Qdos stand, which will also host the Autumn meeting of UK Events partners.

Qdos has been involved in NOEA’s educational programme since the beginning of the year and continues to support the association’s aspiration to provide forums for discussion, networking, and learning. A key tenet of Qdos’ messaging this year is to promote positivity within the industry and emphasize the importance of ‘talking up’ who we are and what we do, a key message to the government.

“Now more than ever, we believe the industry needs to be bold and confident. We’re the best at what we do. We’ve already been an integral part of some incredible events this year, including the Guinness 6 Nations, the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting, and the VE Day 80 Parade and concert on Horse Guards Parade. There is so much for us all to be excited about,” commented James Thomas, Managing Director, Qdos. “We have our challenges, and we always will, but we believe that if we are positive about our skills, our people, and our work, we can create new momentum for the industry. It’s great to have NOEA in partnership with us at this time.”
