We are going fully digital with regisitration this year to minimise crowding in the registration area, please order and print off your exhibitor badges and bring them with you. You will be able to collect lanyards when you arrive at the Show.

HOTELS - Event Express have been appointed as the Official Accommodation Agency of The Showman's Show to provide discounted hotel accommodation exclusively for exhibitors and attendees. If you are unsure of your requirements at this stage, Event Express offer flexible cancellation policies which allow you to make amendments and cancellations at no charge until closer to the event date. However, we do advise that you book now and amend later in order to guarantee your preferred hotel.
The Event Express service is completely free to use with no hidden charges and no booking or transaction fees, and the friendly reservations team will liaise with the hotels directly on your behalf. SETUP & BREAKDOWN - If you are exhibiting outside on the Open Space you may deliver equipment or start erecting your stand from 9am on Monday 11th October. Stands must be cleared by 12pm on Tuesday 26th October. Any equipment left on site after this time may incur a £1000 penalty charge, per day. If you are exhibiting in the Exhibition Hall or Covered Units you may start setting up from 9am on Monday the 18th October. Stands must be cleared by the morning of Friday the 22nd. If you have hired furniture, this must be collected on the Thursday evening after the event has closed. If you are exhibiting outside, please ensure your staff and crew wear hi-vis jackets or vests.
DELIVERIES - Please ensure that you provide all companies making deliveries to your stand with your company name, stand number and avenue. Delivery to stands on the 20th & 21st October must be made by 8.30am. No vehicle will be allowed within the exhibition area after this time, except in emergencies. ELECTRICITY - Power supplies can be booked via The Showman's Show team. All orders need to be received before the 8th October to guarantee a supply. If you have booked power and require internal wiring, lights or other fittings, please contact Helen Apps at Excell Electrical - tel: 01233 822059. Extra work done by Excell Electrical for exhibitors will be invoiced directly by them. If you are making your own arrangements for internal wiring and power distribution, you will be ask to complete a declaration stating you are liable for the safe installation of the supply. If you are supplying your own generator to power your stand, a BS7909 completion certificate will need to be supplied to the Show site office or Show Health & Safety Officer. The Organisers have the right to refuse the use of any unauthorised power sources. All late or additional supply bookings will be subject to availability and cost.
The Show power supply will be turned on from Monday 18th and will be turned off by 10pm Thursday 21st. Exhibitors will be responsible for the safe keeping of all electrical equipment hired until handed back to Excell Electrical. Exhibitors in the Exhibition Hall requiring lighting in addition to the 2 spotlights provided, please contact The Showman's Show team on 01747 854099. In the interest of environmental sustainability, we ask exhibitors to switch off equipment over night and at times when they are not in use where possible.

ALL Exhibitors will need to carry out a Covid19 Risk assessment for their stand space and submit it to Sophie before the Show. You can download some guidance notes on how to do this along with a simple template for you to complete to help you with this here.
COVID19 - The safety of our Visitors, Exhibitors and Crew are of utmost importance to us. We are regularly monitoring the COVID guidance for events and liasing with our Health and Safety Advisor to mitigate the risk. Further information will follow in due course. FIRE PRECAUTIONS - The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that fire safety is addressed as part of a risk assessment and control measures put in place to minimise the risk from fire. To comply with this order, please ensure that your risk assessment addresses fire safety with suitable control measures and fire fighting equipment placed within your Exhibition Stand. The responsibility for compliance sits with the person or company hiring the space. Lance Show & Publications Limited cannot accept any responsibility for the preparation or production of this assessment, implementation of the control measures or any fire fighting equipment required.
