SETUP & BREAKDOWN - Download the site rules here. If you are exhibiting outside on the Open Space you may deliver equipment or start erecting your stand from 7am on Monday 10th October. Outdoor stands must be cleared by 12pm on Tuesday 24th October. If you are exhibiting in the Exhibition Hall or Covered Units you may start setting up from 7am on Monday the 17th October. Stands in the Exhibtion Hall and Covered Units must be cleared by the morning of Friday the 21st October.

Exhibitors can arrive to build their stands from 7am and must be offsite by 6pm on build and break down days.

If you have hired furniture, this must be collected on the Thursday evening after the event has closed.

Any equipment left on site after the 25th October may incur a £1000 penalty charge, per day. 

If you are exhibiting outside, please ensure your staff and crew wear hi-vis jackets or vests.

DELIVERIES - Please ensure that you provide all companies making deliveries to your stand with your company name, stand number and avenue. Delivery to stands on the 19th & 20th October must be made by 8.30am. No vehicle will be allowed within the exhibition area after this time, except in emergencies. STAND SERVICES - You can find the Exhibition Hall shell scheme specification sheet here. Important notes about the Shell Scheme are;

  • Requires hook and loop velcro to fix to them

  • No adhesive tapes are permitted other than velcro

  • No screws, nails or staples permitted. Anyone caught using these will be charged £75 + VAT per panel damaged

ELECTRICITY -  All power is supplied by the Show supplier. Power supplies must be booked via The Showman's Show team. All orders need to be received before the 7th October to guarantee a supply. Power will be switched on from 12pm on Tuesday the 18th October and turned off by 10pm on Thursday 20th October.

If you are making your own arrangements for internal wiring and power distribution, you will be ask to complete a declaration stating you are liable for the safe installation of the supply. If you are supplying your own generator to power your stand, a BS7909 completion certificate will need to be supplied to the Show site office or Show Health & Safety Officer. The Organisers have the right to refuse the use of any unauthorised power sources.  All late or additional supply bookings will be subject to availability and cost.

Exhibitors will be responsible for the safe keeping of all electrical equipment hired until handed back to Excell Electrical.  Exhibitors in the Exhibition Hall requiring lighting in addition to the 2 spotlights provided, please contact The Showman's Show team on 01747 854099. In the interest of environmental sustainability, we ask exhibitors to switch off equipment over night and at times when they are not in use where possible.

TRAFFIC  - A one-way road system will be in place from Monday October 10th - Monday October 24th and must be strictly adhered to.

FIRE PRECAUTIONS - The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that fire safety is addressed as part of a risk assessment and control measures put in place to minimise the risk from fire. To comply with this order, please ensure that your risk assessment addresses fire safety with suitable control measures and fire fighting equipment placed within your Exhibition Stand. The responsibility for compliance sits with the person or company hiring the space. Lance Show & Publications Limited cannot accept any responsibility for the preparation or production of this assessment, implementation of the control measures or any fire fighting equipment required.

SUSTAINABILITY - You can find the Show's Sustainability Policy here. New this year, we are working with EventCycle who can repurpose event materials into charitable donations. If you have waste, such as wood or fabrics, that can be reused, please do get in touch with them. More details can be found here.
