Sierra 1 Security Stewarding Ltd has announced a range of new job roles on offer! Following another successful year in 2024, providing security and stewarding staff to clients at UK events.
Throughout the year, it has become increasingly evident that events are employing more and more people to cover an ever-increasing range of job roles. Sadly, most of the roles are frequently covered by volunteers who often have little or no training or experience of working at events. So, having commissioned a study on staffing at events Sierra 1 has spotted a huge shortfall of options for recruiting dependable and consistent staff members. As a result, it has now created a new staffing supply service that will cover a whole host of new job roles at events in the UK.
Its Event Staff Service has been publicly launched as its new staffing project and it looking to boost a growing database of personnel to cover roles that include ticket scanners, merchandise sellers, bar staff, site crew, waste squad, riggers, traffic control, telehandler drivers, safety officers etc.
The company sees this as an excellent opportunity to expand available staffing levels and skills and to also offer its clients a one-stop solution for all their staffing needs. Having already successfully deployed traffic management, waste squad and ticket scanning teams during this summer, it is now looking to develop and offer further roles from the 2025 summer event season onwards!
The new roles will be offered to both its existing client base and new customers to help make the process of booking staff and the delivery of the event a smoother and more cost-effective process. This is all made possible via an online staffing portal and through the rigorous recruitment of screened, vetted, experienced and qualified staff in addition to training up a core team of our existing security and stewarding personnel.
